She was no far than ten

Could my tears melt away the experience?

Could the violent curses of that night just kill my demons?

Could all of my pain just vanish at the sound of my wailing?

All these she asked and more,

As she wished herself to stealthy recovery.

We spoke at length and in every line of her story-

I could hear her voice trembling, and her screaming;

"Stop!!"

"Leave me!"

"Let me go!!!"

Her tears formed and prestigiously against my conscience-

I wish I could do something to permanently rid her of such ungodly experience;

She has grown to hate so much;

And so vaguely distort her sleep to play the horrific scene over and over,

Till she was no far than ten all again.
